THE BIBLE

WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures of the Bible are the inspired Word of God. They are the complete revelation of His will and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.

JESUS CHRIST

WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He, Jesus, the Christ (Anointed One) is the only begotten Son of God miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the complete and final sacrifice for our sins, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate, and will one day return. It is only through Him that men may come to the Father and be saved.

SALVATION

WE BELIEVE that all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin. We believe that this salvation is only available to all who will receive it. It is by the repentance for sin and through faith in the work of Jesus Christ can one be reconciled to God and experience true joy and everlasting life John.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

WE BELIEVE that the working of the Holy Spirit is to glorify God, to indwell in us, to guide us, to comfort and instruct us\, and empower us to do the will of the Father. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit. 

 

WATER BAPTISM

WE BELIEVE in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior have the privilege to and should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the “circumcision of the Spirit”.

COMMUNION

WE BELIEVE that Communion or The Lord’s Supper is a sacred, symbolic ceremony reminding us of the suffering and death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins as our true Passover Lamb.

MARRIAGE

WE BELIEVE that marriage is a biblical institution and covenant that is shared between one man and one woman before God. It is the representation of the relationship between God and His Church.

THE TRUE CHURCH

WE BELIEVE that the True Church of God is comprised of those who through salvific faith in Jesus Christ have been born again and are united together as the body of Christ of which He is the head and Chief Cornerstone.

 

THE LOCAL CHURCH

The Sustainment Center Church is the place where we gather for edification, fellowship, and to initiate service to each other and the community under the leadership of God and the senior pastor.

 

The Sustainment Center Church reserves the right to employ its employees, volunteers, and assets for initiatives, events, and services aligned with its beliefs and reserves the right to deny any request(s) that is not aligned with those beliefs.
